We're not the only one's who think so. More recently Asheville has won accolades in national media as one of the top places in the nation to live, retire and vacation.

Asheville is a city of 70,000 located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. The natural beauty of the area provides a backdrop for a unique quality of life and an atmosphere that has given Asheville a reputation of offering something for everyone. Not only does Asheville provide the tranquility offered by nature and its small size, but it offers extensive recreational and cultural opportunities as well as educational and medical resources that are usually only found in larger cities.
